Where can I find a "no frills" dive bar?
@An Tua Nua - definitely no frills in this place. Dollar draft beers and it also has a dance floor with top 40 playing. A lot of college kids attend this place from BU and entrance is typically 5 bucks. It can get either super packed or completely empty depending on the night you go. Thursdays are pretty happening. Also you can watch the games over there during the day.
Where can I take spinning classes?
@Fitcorp - Boston's Fitness & Wellness Centers - located in the prudential mall. Its a bit more pricey than BSC but service and personal attention is great. Its worth every penny!
Where can I find a large selection of delicious cupcakes?
@Sweet Cupcakes - they were awarded best cupcakes in 2009. They have 2 locations in back bay and one in harvard square. Phenomenal!!!!!!
Where can I watch a comedy show?
@Improv Asylum - a lot of improvisation comedy sketches in the north end. i was left impressed by their acts and they get the crowd really involved.
Where can I find a quiet place to read and enjoy an espresso?
@Cafe Vanille - 119 Mount Vernon Street on Charles St. in beacon hill. They have the best expresos and croisssants just like in France.
