@larakirwi, when i was living in the US i was using nizoral and unfortunately it didn’t do much for my hair :(

I think you should try home remedies first, before going to a salon for treatment. They're too expensive and your hair is better off without all the chemicals. Try rinsing your hair with diluted lemon juice or vinegar or even baking soda after using your normal shampoo. It helped me get rid of shampoo build up and will probably help you get rid of your dandruff. You'll find the recipes and directions online.
