If you've got a low budget and want a small enough place to be able to book most of it I'd go for @Bonita Restaurant

Practically anywhere and everywhere...@Buffalo Wings & Rings, @La Calle, @Bonita Restaurant...just to name a few but @Sage Lounge has all you can drink vodka night for 20JD on Tuesdays if I recall correctly.

@Las Tapas Latinas serves tapas style food but I wouldn't go as far as calling it a Spanish restaurant. The menu is more international pub food. I think they serve paella though!

To be honset i never seen a place in Jordan that have them, but maybe if you try a good spanish resturant they may have it, see if @Bonita Restaurant and tapas may have it.

@Bonita - My favorite dive bar...very cozy and easy going atmosphere. Food is also great.

@Bonita - It may not be the cheapest in town but just for the sake of comparison. A glass of J&B, usually poured very modestly goes for 6 JD.

Where can I find the best bar / lounge to enjoy a good meal at and grab some drinks?

@Bonita - Its more of a dive bar but has a nice outdoor seating area and the food is superb. The grilled mushrooms are to die for and the alcohol is relatively cheap by the bottle. Drinks usually cost around 6 JD. The crowd is young mostly local but you get at least one or two tables of expats or tourists coming to enjoy the warm and laid back vibe of this great spot.

Where can I go to ease my mind after work with a smooth drink and some small talk?

You can get small talk just about anywhere in Amman. But for a good drink to go with that, try @Bonita - Las Tapas Latinas near the 3rd circle, @La Calle pub near the 1st circle, @Amigo Pub 1st circle, @Canvas in Weibdeh, or @Murphy's Pub - House of Rock in Um Uthaina.

Where can I have some beers and soak up the sun?

@Bonita - Now that it's summer, Las Tapas (@Bonita Inn)--the first right after 3rd circle--is open every day from 3pm. It has a great terrace, good food, and cheap drinks.

Where can I go out for drinks and listen to good rock music?

@Bonita - Las Tapas Latinas. If you sweet talk your way through, the manager will let you play your own tunes from your ipod! If not, they've got a decent collection of rock and oldies.
