There are so many places in Amman for food! What are you looking for in terms of cuisine or maybe fast food?
I'll give you a few options, hopefully it helps you out:
@French Fries Love if you're looking for delicious fries also something quick, cheap, and fulfilling.
@Shawerma 3a Saj If you're looking for a good shawerma that will fill you up.
@Spago Restaurant If you're in the mood for really good Italian

Well, can you be more specific. There are lots of places in Amman, serving international dishes. I'll give you a few options of what I have tried. Turkish @Lale Sofrasi , seafood @The Hook Seafood , shawerma @Shawerma 3a Saj , steak @Black Rock Steak House or @Brisket , Arabic @Sufra , pizza @il Pizzaiolo , pasta @Casereccio . If you're looking to try Jordanian / Levantine food, I would definitely recommend you have a falafel sandwich from @Falafel Al Quds, have a traditional breakfast at @Sufra (they only have it on weekends), and have lunch or dinner at @Levant
