@Amman Citadel and @Roman Theater as a start! Outside Amman, Um Qais is quite remarkable! It's Roman ruins are surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. In the distance you can see Yarmouk river, Golan heights, and lake Tiberius.

Definitely Petra. The siq, the treasury even the roman theater are breathtaking. In the evening, i heard you can enjoy the Siq & the treasury being lit up by thousands of candles, in addition to bedouin music and storytelling!
