You can't unfortunately, unless you're going to get one illegally, which is not likely. Importing guns has been prohibited by the Government from around 15 months due to security issues I think. On the other hand, you could easily find other types of weapons; ie: shotguns. Many stores are found in Rainbow Street, Sweifiyeh (near McDonald), and King Talal Street (downtown Amman, after Al-Hussainy Mosque.

thats not exactly correct...if u want a gun u can get one from gun shops around "marj al hamam" there are plenty of hunting&exhibition equipment, which is a fancy way to say GUNS. I am pretty sure you can find a pistol or a modified hunting rifle "another way of saying assault rifles for shooting birds...anyway i passed by a shop called "طارق للصيد" a few days ago.. still selling guns... BTW its in the same are mentioned before...
