Where can I find the best underground art gallery
in Boston, MA ?

Tips...

The Museum of Bad Art - The world's only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms. It's the best art gallery as it brings out the best of the worst; an unexplored art collection that reeks distain, yet a new found appreciation for its spin on the familiar. It's also underground (literally, too) in that it was founded in the basement of a private home! The museum is free and also located in Somerville and Brookline.

Lot F Gallery - One of the best galleries for sure! Really amazing street artists with crazy talent. The shows are always a blast, tons of cool people, free wine and beer, and sick DJing. Shows are usually on the last Friday of every month, find them on facebook for monthly invites to the shows.

UFORGE Gallery - Because they have an awesome concept, which like art school, inspires you to want to create! Monthly assignments and a guarantee spot on the wall. Anyone can be an artist (and really, everyone is somehow). So hippy cool. xo

Wheelock College - May not be the BEST per say, but there are always new art installations at the Towne Art Gallery. Any of the Colleges of Fenway will have art exhibitions going on at any time
