The Humane Center for Animal Welfare is not a scam , your pay an adoption fee for cats of JOD 35.- which cover the cost of vaccinations , spaying/neutering , grooming and microchip and you get a completely healthy cat .

and by the way , the Center is a non-profit organization which depends solely on donations and adoption fees to take care of around 300 animals who mostly stay at the Center for life because there are more animals than people who are willing to adopt .

im willing to pay 500 donation, but when they tell me i have to pay to get a pet, that is something, and when they say i have to pay 130jds for an operation that costs 40, thats a scam

There are so many cats in Jordan, I would really encourage you to adopt a rescue cat instead of paying for a kitten. The kittens I have seen for sell in Amman looked sick and unhealthy. The best resource for kittens and animals overall is @The Humane Center for Animal Welfare . They are located out on Airport Road in a beautiful facility. The staff is so helpful, friendly and very caring. You can visit with kittens and cats and pick the right one for your family. The adoption fee I believe is 70JD, and includes all immunizations, spaying/neutering, health exam, and micro-chip. I've worked with Miriam at the front desk, and she is amazing. Good luck!!!
