The best spot is @Breads on Oak believe in using old world baking methods. In addition to offering popular loaves like Sourdough, Irish Soda Bread, Ciabatta and Baguette, they also make a very special loaf called “Ancient Grains Miche,” which takes three days to make and has a unique nutty, sour flavor, much like a combination of sourdough and wheat. Breads on Oak also has gluten free and vegan brownies, cakes and cookies that are made fresh everyday.

That can be tough, it really depends what time you go because for good beignets people wait! But head over to @Cafe Beignet all of the French Quarter charm without any of the madness. It's a great place to grab a beignet and coffee without having the long lines of Café Du Monde.
