@Amman Citadel The hill is also home to several notable buildings, including the Umayyad palace, the Byzantine Church, The National Archaeological Museum, and the temples of Hercules.
Where can I find most iconic landmark or tourist attraction?
@Amman Citadel The Citadel is also home to another impressive collection of buildings that comprise the Umayyad Palace, situated just above the Temple of Hercules. While much of the complex was destroyed in an earthquake in the mid-8th century, a few sites have been restored for tourists. You can see a domed audience hall, whose shape nods to the Byzantine church that originally stood in that location, as well as the former governor's residence, Umayyad Cistern, and the Byzantine Basilica.

@Amman Citadel you should check out this place (Umayyad Palace). This is a must see if in Amman! Beautiful ruins and gorgeous view down to Amman! We were lucky enough to be there at 4:00 pm and heard the call to prayer from all of the mosques. The sound was mesmerizing!
