Charming! Not event a flat?
Honestly, it probably depends where. I'm sure it depends on the location. We're not that big on real estate here though unfortunately. But good luck maybe you'll find someone who knows their housing market.

I'm going to assume you have no idea about real estate prices in jordan. When I went around looking for apartments around new years I found many large places for around 6k a year, but mainly in areas around gardens, dahyat alrasheed, tabarboor.. not the best areas, mostly in the older parts of amman. your best bet is going for a drive in those certain areas you're interested in and lookout for the signs on the buildings, I've tried real estate companies and news paper ads as well but their line of prices was way beyond what I found, and the cheapest flats were already incredibly overpriced for their worth. Keep in mind that real estate prices rise up in the summer and with the heavy flow of immigration, a lot of apartment owners would specifically ask me if I was Libyan or Syrian before giving me a price, some charge as high as 2k extra to immigrants. An "average" 2 bedroom flat in areas like abdoun, sweifieh, der ghbar and most of west amman goes for around 6k to 8k. Prices drop lower the more you head towards east of Amman. Good luck.
