Try @Downtown in front of the Jordan Post / Prince Mohammad Street, there is a kiosk called @AlJaheth which sells used and new arabic books, and near the same place on Basman Street there is a bookshop called @AlAsdeqaa (Friends) they sell used books in english and arabic.

@Downtown - u'll find small huts when walking around in Balad that sell/rent used books. Or look for facebook pages/groups dedicated for that.

there is an ancient bookstore downtown called (khazanat aljaheth) it is well know their between souq alsukar and sabeel alhouryat..i think its the best place to serve ur purpose...its good all day but try to go late as the really helpful guy works in the night shift i think....they have a very helpful system for readers its really great.

@AlJaheth book shed in down town, opposite the post office and near jafra. And there is a bookshop next to it called AlAsdeqaa you can find used and old books there
