Kindles aren't sold outside the US. However I bought mine through a site called MyUS.com where you can create virtual address in the US and have it shipped to you. You also need to be aware of the fact that you will not be able to buy movies through your kindle in Jordan due to "Geographical restrictions" as they put it. another thing is that you will not be able to buy apps - even free ones- with your Jordanian credit card, I worked around that buy buying an american pre-charged credit card through a site called GoodeReader.com. everything else worked fine for me like books, magazines, audio books..etc. hope you found that helpful, cheers, Seif
